Competition Terms and conditions

  1. To enter a competition at least one member of your band must be:
    1. resident within 20 miles of Cambridge; and
    2. 13 years old or over at the time of entry.
  2. Competitions are not open to employees or volunteers of CambridgeBands.com or Deadage Design.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Only one entry per person.
  5. The prize is includes printing of CDs. The CDs can contain whatever you like, provided you have permission to distribute it. This does not necassarily include the material developed for the competition entry. The material submitted for the CD will be provided by the winner for pressing as is, we will not provide mastering or post production.
  6. Deadage design are happy to subject the CD design to review by the competition winner, to get the best result possible. They reserve the right to stop this review process at any time.
  7. The track entered must have been written for the purposes of the competition.
  8. A valid entry consists of a recording of the entrant's track , a written copy of the lyrics and a brief description of how the subject inspired the entry.
  9. We will confirm that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
  10. The winner will be the entrant judged to have written the best entry by the judges appointed by Deadage Design and CambridgeBands.com. This decision is final.
  11. The closing date is as specified in the competition, and we reserve the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
  12. The prize may be transferred to another person, body or band.
  13. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
  14. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  15. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
  16. This competition is being run by CambridgeBands.com (http://www.cambridgebands.com) and Deadage Design (http://www.deadagedesign.co.uk)
  17. Information about you will not be transferred to a third party.
  18. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.
  19. We will endeavour to send prizes within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
