The 2009 Cambridge Rock Festival

4 days in August, 3 all weather stages, over 100 bands, 70+ British real ales, and a Polo Match?!!! This could only be….The Cambridge Rock Festival 2009!



The Cambridge Rock Festival has is back, bigger and better than ever before, with our largest line up yet and music running on 3 undercover stages through 6-7-8-9 August! The Haggis Farm Polo Club, Barton, is The Cambridge Rock Festival’s new home, with a Polo match, pony rides and riding lessons available throughtout the festival weekend.

The Cambridge Rock Festival has always been about supporting and encouraging emerging talent, so for 2009 we have decided to create more chances for you to discover these musical gems by adding an extra 40+ hours of music at the festival. We will also be running our new opening night ‘Cream of Cambridge’ showcase for our very own local heros, including: The Winter Kings, Federal Black 40, The Scene is Dead, Acer, Gypsy Ink and The McTaggarts.



Back by popular demand is our credit crunch busting opening night, with its bargain price of £15, featuring our ‘Cream of Cambridge’ showcase and our main stage acts - Led Zep Too, Split Whiskers, The Pure Floyd Show, Who’s Next and The Oli Brown Band.



Big kids and little ones alike, are invited to join in our Circus skills workshops and new for 2009, Arts and Crafts workshops. Our record fair will also be back in residence with bargains and rarities galore!
