Hi, I'am a drummer, writer, illustrator/artist, composer etc. I run Capricorn, a funky soul band also covering jazz and a bit of latin. I'm always keen to meet musician's with a real passion for this kind of music :

Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Funkadelic, War, AWB, The Meters, LeRoy Hutson, Al Green, The Isley Bros, Santana, Miles Davis, Weather report, John McLaughlin, Steely Dan, Horace Silver, Art Blakey (and the whole Blue Note hard bop scene), undeservedly obscure 70's funky soul and jazz (e.g Pleasure, Courtial, the Earth Disciples, Sir Joe Quarterman, Bloodstone, Brick etc), and less obscure stuff like The Crusaders, Ronnie Foster, Ramsey Lewis, Earth Wind & Fire, Young Holt Unltd, Charles Wright et al.

So it's all about hard funkin', cosmic grooves, deep soul, and so on... If this kind of thing is your bag, get in touch with me, as I always have musical projects on the boil. and love to meet like minede musical souls.
