I´m here in Cambridge since April, I came from Portugal and since I arrived I´ve been looking for a place to play drums, it´s one of the things that I miss from home. I used to play on a philarmonic band where I was taught the most basic things and to read the very basic stuff although I haven´t practice for a very long time. When I play (which is rare these past months) I usual just sit down and play things randomly while listening to some music.

I tend to listen to most types of music, but if I had to define my taste I would go for rock/jazz/funk. Some of my favourite bands are Dave Matthews Band, Third Eye Blind, Placebo, K´s Choice, Kings of Leon, Muse, John Mayer, No Doubt, etc.

When I have the chance to play, which doesn´t quite happen lately these days, I normally tend to enjoy playing rythims that are not that linear and straightforward, playing a bit with counter tempos (don´t really know the word in english :)).
