Their music has been embraced as far afield as Australia, where Steve is currently working on a side project with Australian Musician Dave Quin, The USA, Europe (particularly Romania and Poland) and Canada (where they were in 2012 given their own two hour radio show special hosted by DJ UKRED)

In 2011 they issued their 'Far Or Through' album on IMGlobal as well as the singles 'Happy To Be Waiting' and 'Far Or Through'.These were followed in 2013 and 2014 with the singles 'The Silver Tree', 'Stay With Me', 'Watermark' and 'Penny Farthing' all of which are still available as digital releases from Amazon, iTunes and HMV digital etc.

One of the songs on the album ('Watermark') also features guest lead guitar by Rowan Robertson (Dio/DC4/Vast/AMRadio/Billy Ray Cyrus) and violin by Sharon Jayne Sullivan (Cambridge's very own Keltrix). The album was mastered by Pete Maher who has worked with U2, Noel Gallagher, Oasis, Jack White and The Rolling Stones amongst others) and the artwork is by Blackpool artist Ann Charlesworth. The album was produced by Andy Ramsay at Press Play though a few tracks were produced by Andy Cross and Jon Clayton.

Sound Menagerie are currently working on their third album 'House Of Yesterday's' due for release later in 2017 again featuring guest appearances by Stereolab's Andy Ramsay and Sharon Jayne Sullivan as well as new drummer Claire Brock and a guest appearance by Glenn Johansson from Echobelly.
