Sunday Driver blend together Indian and British influences from past and present to create a dark and distinctive kaleidoscope of sound. With their unique line-up of sitar, harp, clarinet, tabla and even a pair of dessert spoons, the band are rapidly earning a name for themselves on the UK alternative music scene and have become favourites of the international emerging “steampunk”movement. Their widely acclaimed album “ In The City of Dreadful Night” released in 2009 draws on imagery from Victorian Calcutta and London and received FATEA music magazine’s innovation award 2010.
